Michael , Jeffery, Junto and Tremor are looking ahead in horror.

Evelyn is chained to a bed. She is gagged and her eyes are wide with terror.
Page 2
It is an upshot of Evelyn on the bed. We can now see that her hands are bound on each side of the bed. The room she is in is dimly lit. The walls are strewn about with pictures of her everywhere. She has her costume on, but her boots, shoulder pads and gloves are gone. The naked man is standing beside the bed, his hands are covered with blood.
Man: Are you scared? Don’t be. Your friend will be gone soon, after I attend to her. Then we can be alone. I killed that whore a month ago who could take powers away, so I could protect you. I’m very good at that. I will be the strong man you need. Al l you have to do is make me better.

It is a four panel page. The first three are small and at the top of the page, while panel 4 is large and at the bottom.
Panel 1
There is a young girl reading a book at a library. There is a large young man reading across from her.
The young man: Pssst, Laurie…
Laurie: Simon, I said no, I have midterms coming.
Simon: Come on….it’s been a month and you know how I feel unloved when I can’t touch you…..
Laurie: No, and shhhhh, this is a library.
Panel 2
Laurie is looking back down. Now in the background we can see there is a large picture window. Just beyond the window is a large man flying towards it.
Simon: Laurie….
Laurie: No, Simon, if I fail these, my parents won’t help me get that car, just use your hand….
Panel 3
Simon is now standing and shouting.
Simon: LAURIE, MOVE!
Panel 4
There is a large kid with a football players build crashing through the window and landing on the table. Laurie and Simon are ducking and holding their hands over their heads. There are a mess of papers and books flying around. The papers have a message when read together say:

Last issue, Michael met with former teammates Junto and Tremor to give permission to demolish the X-building when he discovered that they have already reformed the team. To add to his stress, his long standing crush, Jeffery, chose that night to discuss their relationship. After avoiding the subject, they discovered that X-Generation had been summoned to Salvation College to assist a potential member who uncovered a plot to manufacture JR4478, a drug that gives normal humans, superpowers, it only needs one activator, parahuman blood. They arrived only to witness the murder of one of the teens due to the irresponsibility of Tremor.
Meanwhile, Evelyn and Orchid are investigating the murder of a political commentator when they discover that the murderer has a dangerous obsession with Evelyn. He has multiple superpowers and has taken the two ladies prisoner.

A young girl with blonde hair, unusually large eyes, holding an anchor is following the man into the library from the window.
Aquatitica: Is everyone OK? I did not realize that a body soaring through air was that different from underwater. Please everyone away from that man!
Panel 2
Michael, Jeffery, Junto and Tremor and staring down the college students. The larger of the men is missing. X-generation is behind the adults with Night Terror, now holding Tamara. Christie’s leg should be seen on the ground with the tattoo “Kass” visibly seen.
Markus: And that takes care of one of yours…
Kass: Big Talk, Kill them.
Panel 3
One of the men is running toward the team, another seems to have separated himself into five different men, and another is taking to the air.
Michael: Ok, X-Generation, listen up, we do this by the….
Markus: Come on! Let’s get em!
Panel 4
Night Terror is running away, holding Tamara, Vahalla is leaping upwards towards the flyer, she is holding a large hammer in her hands.
Vahalla: Terror of Night! Get the ebony maiden to a safe location! I will fend off these caitiffs.
Night Terror: Careful, Vahalla.
Panel 5
The man running towards the group has sprouted 6 extra arms and is punching Michael, Jeffery and Markus all at the same time. Junto is lifting her spear.
Michael: Ouf!
Jeffery: Watch ou-
Markus: Asabi, do something.
Asabi: I cannot, you are all in my line of fire.
Panel 6
Fury, the boy with the bo, is knocking the six armed man down.
Fury: Done, c’mon guys, you old people have just been standing around talking, it’s time for action!

Michael is getting up, Jeffery is also rising, Markus is up and at Asabi’s side.
Michael: OK, look, fight first, talk later, I want this tight, no wandering off, no vendettas. Everyone stay together.
Markus: You’re not our leader, this is an X-Generation mission.
Michael: O…BALLS! Listen we have one dead, I don’t want to see anymore hurt.
Asabi: Why are those kids just standing there?
Panel 2
Three of the college students are merging their bodies together. The result is a fleshy mass.
Jeffery: That’s more than a lil’ gross.
Markus: Listen, you and I are on the big thing, Asabi and Michael, provide cover.
Panel 3
Michael is looking annoyed. Asabi is firing arrows towards the other students.\
Michael: I said tight! I don’t want anyone wandering off….
Asabi: You also said fight first, talk later. Just provide the cover.
Panel 4
Night Terror is waiving smelling salts under Tamara’s nose.
Night Terror: Come on…wake up…
Tamara: Ugn….
Panel 5
Tamara is opening her eyes.
Tamara: Tell me you don’t normally wear that.
Night Terror: Wake up, we may need you, that insane group of students just killed a girl and are out of blood.
Panel 6
Tamara is upright. Night Terror is looking behind him.
Tamara: Who is dead..what, this escalated way too far, I was helping Christie and Kass, they said one of their friends discovered a drug that could grant parahuman powers and they ahd been taking it, next time I knew I was being punched by some large red headed bitch.
Night Terror: Then you didn’t alert us?
Tamara: No….Christie must have…..
Night Terror: And now she’s dead.
Tamara: O no….we have to….

Night Terror is helping her up.
Night Terror: You said that they cooked up these powers in a lab? Can you show me where the science building is?
Tamara: Yeah, but what about the others…….
Panel 8
Night Terror is running, pulling Tamara along with him.
Night Terror: Come on, if we hurry, we won’t need to worry about them.

Orchid is curled up in a fetal position in a pool of blood. She is beginning to stir.
Orchid(in a whisper): Evelyn? Are you there……
Panel 2
Orchid is attempting to get up.
Orchid: Ribs hurt….must be hurt worse than I …..
Panel 3
Orchid is being kicked in the gut.
Man: Your trying to take her away from me! She loves me! She doesn’t want to leave!
Panel 4
Orchid is being thrown into a wall, slamming her back hard. The man is stalking her slowly.
Orchid:UGHN!
Man: You need to hurry and go, just let us be happy. She loves me! She wants to stay with me! I will not lose her.
Panel 5
Orchid is laying very still on the ground now. It should be shown that the “A” insignia on her belt now has lit up. The man should be at an angle where he can’t see it.
Panel 6
The man is retreating back to the bedroom. Evelyn is still chained to the bed, fully clothed, gag in her mouth. Evelyn’s eyes are puffy and tearstained.
Man: That lady tried to take you from me. I know you don’t want to leave. You’re going to stay with me forever. Have you been crying? I know what will help you feel better. It will make us one. I will take care of you….

Annie is stomping down the hall of the Ax building. Behind her is Hector(Lasombra). They both look angry and livid.
Annie: We’ll find her Hector, after I deal with Switch and Aurora.
Hector: We better, Annie. She was to be home at 9, she said Evelyn and she were working a new case and then nothing she was not answering her signal device or her phone, and neither was Evelyn.
Annie: Let’s see what we find in the monitor room.
Panel 2
Aiden and Aurora are kissing, his hand in her hair, Aurora has one of her hands on his chest. Annie is first in the room. The computer screens show three blinking lights. Under all alerts are the words: PRIORITY ALARM
Panel 3
Annie is shocking both of them. Hector is now in the room. Aurora and Aiden are both getting up, looking a little frazzled.
Annie: Get up, you both disgust me, there have been multiple priority alarms and this is what I walk in to find? Aurora, you and Aiden, suit up, you’re going to Salvation College to assist Michael and Jeffery. Hector and I are going to Salvation Steelworks to see about Evelyn and Ryla. After you assist, you are to return here and straight here and wait for my arrival. Do you understand?
Aiden: But Rachel is at home….
Aurora: You can’t make me stay up here and wait….
Panel 4
Annie is holding Aiden and Aurora’s heads closer to the monitor.
Annie: Do you see the time on those alarms? One has been waiting for 45 minutes and the other for 10 minutes. Do you know what that means? It means your teammates, your friends could be dead. Aiden, your pregnant fiancé is at home. Aurora, I am sick of your attitude and Michael and I have been meaning to discuss it with you, but as you can’t seem to leave your personal life out of work, here goes: quit being a bitch. You both got that?

Annie is walking out of the room with Hector.
Annie: I’ll take your silence as a yes. Remember, straight back.
Aiden: But that third alarm….
Annie: It’s Rachel, she hit the alarm because she was having pains, Paul is with her in the emergency room, that alarm has been waiting for one hour. She’s fine now. Go help Michael and Jeffery, and I swear to whatever god or gods you both pray to, they had better be perfect.

Michael is punching a boy with translucent skin. Vahalla is behind him using her hammer to knock out one of the multiple boys.
Vahalla: Do not you have powers? I should think that you should do well to honor them by using them.
Michael: We are in too close, and you can’t rely on your powers. Besides….
Panel 2
Michael is throwing a disc at another multiple behind Vahalla.
Michael: I’ve been training for situations like this…..
Panel 3
Michael is now pulling Vahalla forward and kicking the multiple with the disc stuck in his chest.
Michael: ….since I was 13, now watch out.
Panel 4
The multiple is writhing on the ground, there is a large electrical charge coming from the disc.
Panel 5
Vahalla is smiling at him, Michael has a sheepish grin on his face.
Vahalla: I am impressed beyond words, sir. That was an excellent display.
Michael: That was nothing, if you stay in the business longer, then I’ll impress you.
Panel 6
Kass is being punched by Aquattica.
Aquattica: You show no honor, air dweller. I shall see that you pay for your crimes….
Kass: Get off of me, fishgirl.

Melanie is now grabbing Aquattica by her hair and kicking her back. Kass is getting up slowly.
Kass: Do you know what my real power is? Hehe, I control minds, I clouded all the information about my boys and girls here and pushed them into being completely loyal. I’m not giving it up, not for you, not for the law, not for anything.
Panel 2
Michael is looking at Jeffery.
Michael: Jeffery, we need to stay away from her, you need to be sure that you cloud your mind before she can, o crap, here she comes.
Panel 3
Michael is leaping towards Kass, Vahalla is hitting Melanie with the hammer. The background should show attempting to run towards them.
Michael: Yeah, you’re so tough, you had your best friend killed and didn’t have to lift a finger to do it, why don’t shut the hell up.
Vahalla: What manner of breeding woman are you, wench?
Panel 4
Michael is screaming at Kass. There should be multiple sound words enlarged in the background. She is holding her ears. Vahalla is now tossing Melanie into the air.
Michael: Not so nice when someone disobeys you is it, you hateful bitch.
Panel 5
Asabi and Markus are battling the combination mass.
Markus: Get away so I can use my seismic vibrations on it.
Asabi: We are too close, you won’t be able to cut loose.
Markus: Just do it!
Panel 6
Asabi is running away, Markus has one hand on the ground. There should be lots shaking and some of combatants are falling to the ground. Many of the buildings in the background should show crumbling and wear. Michael is yelling over the action.
Michael: Tremor, are you freaking nuts!? STOP IT!.

The mass has fallen on its back, causing another Tremor. Michael is pulling Markus out of the way.
Panel 2
Tremor is getting up, grinning at Michael, Michael is staring at him with anger in his eyes.
Markus: See? I knew you would enjoy working with X-Gen again, now all we need to do is stop the big bad guy and ….
Panel 3
Michael is punching Markus.
Michael: I’ve waited nine years to do that.
Panel 4
Michael is looking at X-Generation and speaking. Asabi is helping Markus up.
Michael: You listen to me, all of you. I am Rukus and I am an ex member of your team. I’m taking control of your team now. I want you in pairs securing this area. We are missing Night Terror and that girl we came to help. Secure the students that we just defeated. In pairs.
Markus: You pathetic sack of sh!t, that was a d!ck move! I’m about to kick your fat faggot ass…..
Panel 5
Kass is back up, Vahalla and Aquattica are both at her side.
Kass : While you two were fighting like girls, I was able to reestablish my mind control and guess who close enough for me to latch on to?

Kass is pointing at Michael and the group.

Vahalla and Aquattica are both shaking their heads as if they just waking up.

Kass is looking directly ahead. There seems to be a clear image of a woman in front of her. She is holding a large gun and is equipped with a cross bow. She has long red curly hair. She is dressed with in a corset and fishnets.
Sureshot: Good thing I was check the police band. What seems to be the problem here?
Panel 2
Kass is screaming. Her arm is bleeding profusely Sureshot has a sinister grin on her face.
Sureshot: SO…..you must be the head bitch in charge……
Panel 3
Kass is holding one hand to her head. Sureshot is coming closer.
Kass: N..No….my powers….I’ll stop you…..a stupid gun…..
Panel 4
Sureshot is smiling, she has her arm around Kass and is looking at the wound.
Sureshot: Yeah, listen to me, a gun against mental powers? Hard to think when I’ve laced my bullets with a very powerful narcotic. Can you think? Concentrate? Here’s the kicker, it also has a psychotropic quality….

The panel is dark, the only thing visible is Kass.
Sureshot: Can you here my voice? It should feel like you are drowning in darkness….I hear the that withdraw symptoms really aren’t that pleasant, o, but interesting side effect, it negates that stupid drug in your system….you just lost your powers…
Kass: who….are you?

Sureshot: Just your friendly neighborhood mercenary….

Kass is collapsing on the ground. Jeffery is running back to the scene, Michael is shackling her. And looking at Sureshot.
Michael: Au-Sureshot?! Where did you come from?
Sureshot: Hiya, nephew! Moto’ and Marla asked me to check in with you, then I heard about all this crap and figured you would be in the thick of it…

Michael is now in his face.
Michael: You listen to me and you hear everything I am about to tell you. What happened to Quiver happened to me while I was in the hospital. When I left this team, it was because he was kicked out by a unanimous vote because he was dating me. YOU voted against your own best friend. And that girl’s blood is on both our hands. Not just mine, yours as well. So shut the fuck up, before I stomp the comedy of errors you call a life out of that greasy, inbred, inept body of yours.

Michael and Markus are looking down.
Off panel voice: Tremor? Tamara and I have found the lab, but the nerd that was here, well he……
Michael: Get out of there and come to our location…
Markus: Engage and stop the perp.

Michael is shaking Markus.

Asabi is pulling them apart and pointing.

One of the buildings is folding in on itself. There is a bright light and multiple students are running out of the building. Night Terror and Tamara are also exiting the building.

Jeffery is running towards the crowd.

Jeffery is helping the crowd move out of the way.
Panel 4
There is the outline of a man walking out calmly, he is the epicenter of the building, everything seems to be flowing into him.
Panel 5
Jeffery is running back to the group with Night Terror and Tamara in tow.
Night Terror: We were at the lab and we were breaking the vials of JR 4478. Tamara found an “antidote” when this poindexter came in, he injected some into his neck and then he turned into…..that.

Markus is pointing at the boy.
Markus: X-Generation, attack!

Orchid is getting up. The man is walking towards her. He is holding a knife in his hand.
Man: It’s time I took care of you, Evelyn won’t leave me now. She has become mine. I know she loves me. She told me with her body, her touch.

The panel is dark.
Man: Why can’t I dispel it?

Annie is showing walking towards the man.

Annie is grabbing the man and knocking him backwards.
Annie: As long as Lasombra is all around us, you have no powers. Now tell us where is Evelyn?

Orchid is slamming him in to the back of the wall.

The man is out cold. Orchid is being helped up by Lasombra who has dropped the darkness. Annie is besides them.
Lasombra: Mi Dios! Are you alright?
Orchid: Yes, my heart, I am fine, he cut me a few times, but nothing major, I am more bruised than anything. Evelyn!

Annie is walking into the bedroom. It should be dark with only part of Evelyn’s body illuminated. She is naked. Her eyes should be shown. They are sad.
Annie: Evelyn? Honey? Are you hurt?

Annie is beside her. Evelyn is screaming.
Evelyn: He…..He did things to me…..I….Oh my God….He cut into me….He…..

Annie is hugging her.

Annie is looking at her, sadness and tears in her eyes.

Hector is helping Orchid out. He is whispering to Annie.

Annie is now alone looking down at the man.
Panel 4
Annie is kicking him.
Annie: You like to hurt women, huh? You like the rush and feel of hurting people, thinking that you’re making them love you?

The man is screaming. Annie is kicking his lower back, hard.
Annie: You think that’s what you do to those you love? You pathetic piece of shit, I hope this hurts. I don’t like to hurt people, but you’re not a person. You’re a monster.

Annie is holding his genitals. Her eyes are glowing with electrical energy.

Jeffery is grabbing members of X-Generation moving them away from the vortex. Michael is screaming at the top of his lungs. Markus looks too far gone as he is being swept away.
Jeffery: That was stupid……I’m going Mach 4 and it feels like I’m walking….
Michael: Jeffery, get them away from there…..

Aurora is sweeping in, riding her staff, she is grabbing Markus.
Aurora: Gotcha!
Panel 3
Aiden in the form of an elephant is providing cover for Michael.
Michael: Where the hell have you been? I signaled for back up almost an hour ago.
Aiden: What happened here?

Panel 4
Aiden is shifting forms into a stegosaurus. The members of X-Generation and Ax are using him as cover.
Markus: We need to get in close, and knock him out!
Michael: NO! We aren’t. Aurora, do you have anything that we can use?
Aurora: I have my magic mirror, but I need to try and get close to use it….
Jeffery: I can run you close enough and get you out of there in case something happens to you.
Aurora: All you have to do is get me close enough to pitch it at him and I can activate it.
Markus: I can provide….
Michael: Haven’t you learned yet? NO!
Panel 5
Aurora is in Jeffery’s arms.
Jeffery: Ok, are you sure about this? I’ll run you past him at my top speed, Mach-4 and then you drop the mirror, say the word and then we are out.
Aurora: Agreed.
Michael: When we get done here, I want to speak to you and Aiden back at the Ax building….
Aurora: Come on, let’s get this over with.

Jeffery is running past the group with Aurora in his arms. She is holding a very decorative mirror.
Aiden: What do you need to talk to us about…

The man is turning his head, causing Jeffery to fall.

Markus and Aquattica are rushing the man.
Markus: They fell, c’mon let’s help them out.

Aurora who has her head turned the opposite direction is being lifted by Jeffery, who also has his head turned.

There a large light coming out of the mirror, It appears as though there is a large spiral pattern coming out, encasing the large man.

Jeffery is running back towards Aiden. Asabi and Michael are looking past him.

Markus and Aquattica are being sucked into the man while he is pulled into the prison mirror.
Asabi: Somebody help them!

The man is almost gone through the vortex, but Aquattica and Markus are still trapped. Michael is running forward.
Michael: No…o NO..no no no….
Jeffery and Aiden: Michael! NO!
Panel 4
Michael is almost to Aquattica’s hand. There should be signs that his hand is being pulled in to the vortex.
Michael: I almost got you…..
Panel 5
Michael’s fingertips are at the mirror, Aquattica’s hand is almost completely gone.
Michael: Reach for me, just one more….
Panel 6
Jeffery is grabbing Michael and running him away from the pull.
Michael: NO! I had her! She was in my hands!
Jeffery: NO! She was gone, Michael, she was gone, there was nothing there to help….

Michael is walking down a street in Salvation. He is almost to the Ax building. It should be night with no one on the street. He is alone.

Jeffery is coming from around the corner.
Jeffery: Hey, I just wanted to make sure you were OK. Did you walk the entire way home?
Michael: Yeah, was about an hour and a half walk. I needed to clear my head. Tonight was…..
Jeffery: Intense? Yeah, yeah it was….I just wanted to make sure that…

Michael has the beginnings of tears in his eyes.
Michael: I..I tried to help, I really did. I thought I was doing the right thing….Jeff…..how could it go wrong? Three people are dead….Two of them were kids…..

Jeffery is hugging Michael.
Jeffery: Look, it’s Ok, you didn’t do anything wrong, it was a screwed up situation, Markus didn’t even listen to you and….

Jeffery is holding Michael’s head in his hands.
Jeffery: Really, Michael, I couldn’t have taken control of the situation like you did, it was amazing, and it was just bad luck, nothing you could have controlled. Don’t blame yourself.

Michael is turning away.

There is an armed guard walking Evelyn’s stalker to a cell. There is another guardsman who is in the cell waiting for his arrival.
Guard 1: So what’s his story?
