The Economic Downturn has lead to a steep decline in our sales to the overseas markets. According the accompanying graph, new Ax members, Evelyn(Allure), Aurora, Aiden(Switch), and Annie(Glitch) are invited to the Ax tower for orientation and to see new headquarters. They are introduced to Richard Keller, who proposed to gauge their power levels. He has a very tense meeting with Michael. During their first meeting, it is proposed they spar to gauge combat training, during the initial introduction to their practice suite, Regal, enraged that the respect that he feels he is due is not returned, sucker punches Aiden, knocking him out. Meanwhile, James and Jeffery(Velocity) who is acting as a liason between Ax and the Salvation PD while his leg heals), were following up on leads on a murder case. While attempting to interview a writer of a very popular comic book, two elderly costumed assailants attacked the trio and announced that they were the inspiration behind the comic, K-Girl and Kid Alpha, they are 1940s fighting duo, Fruit Fly and Nancy Boy! While this has very little bearing on our domestic market, it has been reported in a recent magazine article, ”Shock” by Jessie Robles, that leading accounting firm, Blotner, Clark, Marshall and Floyd, were brought in to assist Ax Corporations. Chris: I just think that crime should be handled by the correct authorities. People wearing Halloween costumes to go out and “patrol” are just asking for trouble. I tried to contact Ax to let them know that there was something going on, but apparently, they are having some kind of issue in their tower.

James: No, you need your rest. They are going to take you to the hospital tonight, and after I finish up here, I will go up there and see you. I’ll let Annie and Evelyn know that you’re going to be there, as soon as I can. Just lay back and relax, honey, that’s all you have to do.

Harold: After this display, I do not think it would be wise, I am of the mind that he needs to be placed on the reserve list. Getting your feelings hurt is not a quality I look for in a team leader.

According the accompanying graph, new Ax members, Evelyn(Allure), Aurora, Aiden(Switch), and Annie(Glitch) are invited to the Ax tower for orientation and to see new headquarters. They are introduced to Richard Keller, who proposed to gauge their power levels. He has a very tense meeting with Michael. Richard: Well that is the question of the hour isn’t it? Regal’s power levels are so great, that I can’t dampen them, no holding cell can hold him, and you just want him to calm down to talk to him, right?
Annie: Well, yeah, I mean if we are going to work on the same team…
Harold: After this display, I do not think it would be wise, I am of the mind that he needs to be placed on the reserve list. Getting your feelings hurt is not a quality I look for in a team leader.

Regal is brushing off the group effortlessly. Orchid is being thrown into Harold and Deborah.

Regal is standing yelling at the group. Deborah and Harold are out cold, Orchid is holding her head. Aiden is switching forms into a bird, Evelyn is getting in front of Annie, Michael, and Richard.
Regal: Usurper! First you insult me and then take me off my own team!!!! I will have your head for this!
Panel 6
Aiden is using his talons to claw at Regal’s face. Aurora is casting a fireball at Regal. Lasombra has shadow tendrils wrapped around Regal’s leg.
Aiden: It’s like scratching steel!
Lasombra: Regal, calm down, this isn’t like you!
Aurora: I can’t concentrate my spells are too disjointed.

Regal: You are making demands of me, little man? You poor little fool, you are the only one with experience on this new team of Keller’s and yet I bet you won’t be picked to replace me as leader. It will be her.
Annie: What does it matter Regal? Why are you doing this?

Regal is smiling.
Regal: Should I show you both how serious this is? Being one of your “super heroes”?
Panel 3
Using superspeed, Regal is now holding Michael by the throat.
Regal: An excellent specimen, you have your whole life in front of you, “Rukus”. Well, you did.

Annie is kicking at Regal’s back, her boots are sparking with electricity.
Annie: You leave him the f@#k alone!
Panel 5
Regal is turning at superspeed and grabbing Annie.
Regal: You don’t want me attacking Michael, fine, Annie, I will attack you.

Michael is holding his throat in the background. Regal now has Annie’s neck in his hands.
Regal: How pretty, I think you could have made something of yourself. If not a super hero, maybe a one nighter for various paying customers.

The panel should be in the shape of the word CRACK! In the center of the panel should be Annie’s head falling backwards.

Michael is screaming at him. The effect in the panel should be massive. Michael has tears in his eyes and he is screaming. Regal is throwing Annie’s body to the wall.
Michael: You…..You just k-killed her! You snapped her neck! You bastard!!!!!! I-I hate you!

Regal is kicking Michael.
Regal: You pathetic out of shape has-been. How does it feel to peak before you turn 24? Hmmmm? How does it feel to know that after I kill you, I’m going to kill the rest of this team?

Regal is being blasted from behind. The panel should be lit in blue. Annie is behind him, she is holding a metal wire through an electrical socket, and the other hand, she is blasting him.
Panel 2
Annie is looking down at Regal’s smoking body. There should be the indication that he is twitching. The building should now be poorly lit.
Annie: Was that good for you, baby? Is that not the kind of charge a one nighter is supposed to ask for?
Michael: How…How are you Ok?
Panel 3
Annie is holding her neck.
Annie: I…I don’t know…
Panel 4
Aurora is walking into the panel.
Aurora: I can answer that, earlier I enchanted you, I figured that if we couldn’t keep Regal down then, someone would have to protect the rest of us, so I “cushioned” you, that’s the best way to put it. It’s more involved and it drained me, which is why I couldn’t concentrate, but you’re alive.

Regal is beginning to rise.
Michael: O shi-
Annie: I’m all out of ideas……
Aurora: I got it.

Regal is looking confused. There are weird circling lights around him.
Regal: Wha-what happened here….why am I twitching…….

Regal is almost gone now.
Regal: NO! I’m sorry….You don’t understand………….She-

Regal is gone, and Aurora is collapsing on the ground. Michael and Annie are attempting to lift her.
Annie: Whoa! Michael, help me get her to conference room.
Panel 4
The team and the Kellers are sitting in the destroyed conference room. All of them have bruises and scrapes. There are candles lit around the room for light.
Harold: I am sorry, team. I really can’t say that enough. Had I known that Regal had that dark of a side…
Annie: With all due respect sir, I think you’re wrong. He seemed surprised that he had done what he did, and there was that look of total shock on his face when he saw us lying around in shambles.
Evelyn: Say what you want, Annie, that maniac went through us like we were drunken frat boys. And he was supposed to be our team leader?
Panel 5
Harold is looking at Annie and Micheael.
Harold: About that, I observed how the two of you took control of the situation and worked well together. I would like to ask that since Regal is now on at the very least suspension until we determine what caused his rampage, that you two, co-lead this team.

Michael and Annie are looking at one another.
Michael: I…Annie?
Annie: We accept. Mr. Keller, where do you think Regal is now? He could have flown back to us by this time, taking into account his power levels.

The scene is Regal sitting on an asteroid in space. Harold’s answers are in multiple panels around him. Regal looks sad and is staring off.
Harold: If I know T’sari, and he is truly sorry, he will seek solitude. Believing that you are perfect, and causing damage on this scale, has to be a blow to ones ego. This won’t be the last we see of Regal, it may be the last we see of the confident hero we know. Regal will be a shell of his former self.
