Card: Jeffery, It’s James, I know I said I would visit, but I have been swamped, call me when you get out of the hospital. The events of the last issues where we were almost killed by those costumed vigilantes turned villains, Fruit Fly and Nancy Boy, weigh on my mind. Not to mention that we didn’t get to see the mysterious Chyna Doll, and that we shared a kiss. And you still don’t know who the Laura was that was mentioned. Thinking about you…. –James.

Janet is sitting across from him reading.
Janet: You can stare at it all you want, but it’s not going to ring.
James: I..I was thinking about lunch….

Janet is smirking.
Janet: Look, we have a lot of dates to go through for these murders, there are two more bodies found in the Walsh district and we still need to go over the chemical report of that weird cream substance that would found on the puncture sites. So, here, let me call the hospital for you.
James: NO!...I mean, no I mean I don’t know how to tell Jeffery about…well.. you know…

Janet is looking at James. Her face is now more serious.
Janet: Look, relationship stuff is hard. But I do have a question, and if this is too personal, let me know are you gay or what? I mean you can’t be completely gay, how would you explain Laura…..
James: I…I am still trying to figure that out, I mean I thought I was…and…this is kind of awkward to be discussing at work….I…

The phone is ringing. Both Janet and James are looking at the phone.
Janet: Well, answer it!

James is holding the receiver to his ear.
James: Detective Huber….hello, I didn’t expect to hear from you…your welcome…so you officially recovering…that’s great…..dinner?....I would love to….but I kind of have plans for tonight…what about Friday night, after the big press conference…you can come to my place…I’ll cook….sure, I’ll call you and tell you what time….great, I’ll call you….talk to you later Jeff, bye.

Janet is back to looking at her dossier.
Janet: Good, you have a date….holy crap!
James: What?Janet: One of the chemicals that make up that weird lotion is patented to Ax Corporations and is in the developmental stage.
James: So?Janet: It’s an industrial sunscreen. It would be the equivalent of SPF 900.
James: What? Is that even possible?Janet: I don’t know, I’m sending it to an expert, but in the meantime, when you are on your date I want you getting as much details about the company as you can from Jeffery. I want to know the ins and outs of Ax Corp.

Jeffery, Annie, Evelyn, and Aurora are in the hospital room. Jeffery is dressed and his leg is heavily bandaged. Annie has a bag slung over her shoulder, Aurora is holding the bouquet of roses, and Evelyn has other bouquets in her hand.
Annie: So? You have a date?
Jeffery: I think so, he just seemed, a little busy.
Annie: Well, you did call him at work.
Jeffery: Speaking of which, uhm when do we actually go to work?
Evelyn: After the press conference tomorrow, you still are going to be on leave to rest up for your leg, and ride along with your new beau. Additionally, I was instructed to inform you that your presence is required sometime today or tomorrow to DNA print for the security system.
Panel 2
Jeffery is looking a little puzzled.
Jeffery: Today? But I was just going to lay down and rest, who schedules a DNA print while someone is recovering?
Annie: That was Richard’s idea. He seems like a grade-A jerk. Plus, Michael doesn’t like him, that says a lot.
Jeffery: I haven’t really spent a lot of time with Michael, he never really talks directly to me, it’s just a lot of stares and looking away. What do I have to do?
Aurora: Well, you put your thumb on this pad, then he does this thing where you use your powers where it takes..uhm…an energy signature? I think that’s what he said, that’s used to gauge and monitor power levels, he couldn’t gauge mine, I guess because I’m magical.
Panel 3
Jeffery and Annie are looking at Evelyn and Aurora.
Jeffery: Lovely, well after a bit, I’ll go up there, Annie you have a date tonight right?Annie: Yeah, I don’t really know the guy, but he seemed nice, I’m not going to tell him, I have never been on a date before….
Jeffery: What about you two? Big plans?
Aurora: Evelyn and I are going to patrol, we figured it would be good practice for when we have to do it for real.
Evelyn: I am excited about actually being able to kick butt as I did in “Vice Girls”.
Annie: That was a terrible movie.
Panel 4
Evelyn is laughing.
Evelyn: Yes, it was, but every actor needs to have a ‘women in prison’ move under their belts. Plus, I haven’t spent any time with Aurora and as a hostess that will simply not do. Well, let’s take our leave of this sterile envoirment, I always find that hospitals have the most appalling décor.

Aurora is looking at the group.
Aurora: If you didn’t bring the limo, I could have magicked us back to the penthouse.
Evelyn: No, no, dear, remember, save your spells for tonight, who knows, we may even catch that dreadful killer that’s been in the news.

Aiden is shifting to a turkey, and is running his feathers over a coffee table.

Rachel is coming into the apartment. She has books in her hands, her hair is mussed.
Rachel: Aiden! I have told you, don’t dust when you are in animal form! You’re going to get feathers everywhere.
Aiden: Sorry, babe.
Panel 3
Aiden is shifting back to human form and taking the books from Rachel’s arms.
Aiden: Sorry hon, thought I would surprise you, by cleaning up in here. How was school?
Rachel: I was so nauseous, I don’t even know. Everything was just blah to me.
Aiden: Do you want to go to the doctor?
Panel 4
Rachel is reaching into her bag and pulling out a box.
Rachel: Maybe, it depends on what this tells us.
Aiden: What? Is that what I think it is? A-Are you…?
Panel 5
Rachel looks exasperated as she is tossing the box on the sofa.
Rachel: This isn’t like in high school where we have to worry about what our parents are going to say. You have a good job, and we’ll be married soon, and I will drop out of school, until the pregnancy is over. Don’t worry, Aiden, it will be fine.
Aiden: But….I…I am happy if we are pregnant, but I just started…you know what? Doesn’t matter, the only thing that matters is that you and I are happy and that the baby is healthy.
Rachel: Don’t get too excited, remember, still need to piss on a stick.
Panel 6
Aiden is looking a little shocked at her.
Rachel: If I am not pregnant, I’ll apologize for the bad language.

Aiden is running out of the room.
Rachel: Where are you going?!
Aiden: To get your anniversary gift and some water.
Rachel: Water?

Chris is studying with books piled over the table. Michael is coming in, he has an mp3 player in one hand, and a backpack slung over his shoulder.
Chris: How was your day?Michael: Ugh tiring, feel like I’ve acted the same scene three lines over and over. Did you get the chocolates I left for you.
Chris: Yes, I did. Was there something you wanted to talk about? You don’t normally give candy unless you want to tell me something.
Michael: Well, yeah I did, but….

Panel 2
Michael is opening the door. Rachel is there, she appears haggard, but is now wearing a jacket buttoned all the way up to her neck.
Rachel: Hi, Mike, is Chris here?
Michael: Yeah, he’s here…
Chris(off panel):Rachel, did you find out yet?
Panel 2
Rachel, still wearing the jacket is shaking her head.
Rachel: I don’t have to go yet, but look…
Panel 3
Chris and Michael are staring at Rachel’s neck. There is a bear paw hanging from a gold chain. The paw is very plain except is has a ruby heart in the middle surrounded by diamonds.
Chris: That is so pretty! Why don’t you ever get me jewelry?
Michael: Well, maybe I will, on our anniversary.
Chris: Last year, you got me clothes. I want jewlery.
Rachel: I love it, I knew whatever he got me was going to have something animal related but I didn’t expect this, I mean I already got an engagement ring. So while he is downstairs, can I have those keys?

Chris handing Rachel a set of keys, Michael is looking at the keys in a questioning manner.
Michael: What did you get him, a car?
Rachel: O, no, a motorcycle. A crazy supped up motorcycle, if I say so myself. I have been secretly working on it for about a year now.
Michael: Wait a second, you have been working on it?
Rachel: Yeah, apparently I’m good with a wrench, surprise, surprise. Actually I had to take autotech for a credit and found out it was really fun, so I stuck with it.

Chris is hugging Rachel.
Chris: Well, go back to your sweetie, Michael and I were going to talk, and call me once you know something.

Rachel is leaving.
Rachel: I will, see ya guys.
Michael: To find out what?Chris: If she is pregnant.

Chris: Yeah, last couple of days, she has been nauseous. So she was supposed to buy a test. Wouldn’t it be great to have a child? Now what were you going to tell me….
Michael: Look, well, let’s sit. This isn’t easy for me to say but.

Chris is sitting on the couch. He looks worried.
Chris: You’re breaking up with me aren’t you?Michael: N-No, look listen to me Chris…

Aiden is outside the bathroom, he is wrapped in a towel and is holding a stopwatch. He is dripping wet.
Aiden: Honey, it’s almost time. Look, I can switch to a dog and dry off, I can….
Rachel: NO! That smell will be in here for weeks…O! O! O!
Panel 4
It is a panel that is the inside of their bathroom. Rachel is jumping up and down. Aiden has switched into a snake, he is slithering under the door.
Aiden: Raaaaaachell, Issssssth it good newssssssssth?
Rachel: YES! YES! We are having a BABY!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! SNAKE SNAKE!!!!!

Aiden is switching back to human form, he is nude and holding Rachel.

Aiden and Rachel are looking at one another.

Aiden and Rachel are kissing.

Michael’s cell is ringing.
Michael: Hello? O good…Really?.....hmmmm OK…..I’ll be right down….no, he’s...busy…at the moment….OK, I’ll be right there.

Michael is hanging up the phone.
Michael: Guys, sorry but I have to leave, work stuff, Aiden I told them you were busy, so don’t’ worry about it. Congrats again, and Chris, call me and let me know what restaurant.

Jeffery is in the lobby of the Ax building. His leg is no longer bandaged. He is on his cell.
Jeffery: No, Annie……it’s Ok, I got a hold of Michael…..No really…It’s not everyday you go shopping with Evelyn Davis….well I guess yeah your right for us it is…….No, just get ready for your date…I’m sure it will be Ok…wait here he is….like 30 minutes ago…..yeah that was fast….Ok, I’ll see you tomorrow….bye. Michael!

Michael is walking in, giving a warm smile to Jeffery.
Michael: Hey, what’s going on Jeff? So the secretary said that you needed security clearance from a team leader or account supervisor?Jeffery: Yeah and the only Keller in the building in the one I haven’t met. Apparently, you have to use your DNA scan to get me in and then escort me to around until I am given clearance.
Michael: Eh, Don’t worry about, I wasn’t doing anything I wanted to do anyway. I’ll getcha in, but I wonder how the system is going to know I’m a team leader.
Panel 3
At the private elevator, Michael is pressing his thumb against the reader. He is looking surprised as is Jeffery.
Computer Voice: Id Identified: RUKUS..Team Leader…positive ID…welcome, Mr. Floyd. How many guests?Michael: uh, One I guess….
Jeffery: That is really cool, and kinda scary.
Panel 4
As Michael and Jeffery are in the elevator, there is another voice coming through a speaker.
VOICE: Mikey? What are you doing here?
Michael: It’s Michael to you, DICK, I’m bringing Jeffery up to get security clearance.
VOICE: Then you can come to the security floors and you can go.-Out-
Jeffery: Who was that?Michael: That is Richard Keller.
Panel 5
Jeffery is giving him a questioning look.
Jeffery: Doesn’t sound like you like him.
Michael: I don’t, he is as I said he was, hes a di-

The elevator dings. Michael and Jeffery are walking out.
Panel 7
Jeffery trips and is beginning to fall. Michael is catching him.
Jeffery: WHOA!
Michael: I got you, are you ok?

The scene should show that they are both looking at each other in the eyes, faces close.
Jeffery: I…I am now….thank you…
Michael: …Anytime….was it your leg?
Jeffery: Yeah, it, uhm kind of buckled.
Michael: I know some first aid, want me to take a look at it?

Annie is now looking at her watch. Behind her is Paul, he is wearing dark jeans and a collared shirt. His hair is styled differently from his first appearance.
Paul: Annie? Hey….

Annie is turning around and smiling.
Annie: I didn’t know whether or not to dress down so I compromised. Looks like you did the same.
Paul: Yeah, I believe in being comfortable first, then I’ll pull out the tux, are you hungry?
Annie: Yes…I was nervous, so didn’t eat earlier, now I’m paying for it.
Paul: Well, I am happy to report that this is an excellent eatery and you will be glad you starved yourself.

Annie is looking down at her feet.
Annie: Look, Paul, before we go in, I do have a confession to make….I….haven’t been on a date. Ever. It’s complicated and…

Aurora is levitating over the side of a building riding a broom. Evelyn is sitting on the side, wearing street clothes.
Evelyn: Aurora, your spell told us, we were going to be needed at the Detention Center, but I don’t see anything occurring, and we have been here for at least two hours. And must you levitate like that?
Aurora: I’m sorry, is the socialite impatient? And why are you wearing your street clothes? What if we need to jump into action?Evelyn: That doesn’t look likely, and it’s the latest thing according to that dreadful Richard. This black bracelet will..”flash” our costumes on us. I am eager to try it out.

Aurora: I did not get one.
Evelyn: Well you can magic yours on.
Aurora: yeah, but it would be nice to be asked. Evelyn, why did you ask me on patrol tonight, I know you were invited to a party tonight.
Panel 3
The panel is a focus of Evelyn’s face.
Evelyn: Because ‘Rora, you and I don’t really know one another. You have been staying in my penthouse, and we never seem to have a conversation. I don’t remember anything about my upbringing, but somewhere I must have learned that are some rules about this sort of thing.
Aurora: Hold on, you don’t remember anything about your childhood?
Evelyn: No, haven’t you ever read anything about me? A few years back I was paying people to look for information brought a bunch of freaks out and it was all over the news magazines. I gave it up though, no leads.

Aurora is getting off of her broom.
Aurora: Evee, I had no idea…
Evelyn: See, and I am marveling at how you didn’t know that. What kind of upbringing did you have? It was all over Headline Tonight, Entertainment Access, and all of the major networks.
Aurora: I grew up in a trailer park, then a commune, so I didn’t get out much.
Evelyn: See, ‘Rora, this is why I wanted to have just a girls night. The others, I can kinda gauge their personalities, I know them already. You’re a mystery. Not that it’s a bad thing, but you know, I am not used to that.

There is a large noise. Evelyn and Aurora are looking around in shock. Evelyn is pressing her bracelet and is partly engulfed in light.

Richard is behind a computer screen. There are various machines and lights blinking in the background.
Richard: OK, just take it easy. Look, all I need is you to move as fast as you can. And remember no running on the leg, just an arm or something.

Jeffery is wearing his jeans and ,instead of his shirt; he is wearing the top part of his costume. He has various monitoring devices all over his chest and arms. The look on his face is one of confusion.
Jeffery: So what you want me to like rotate my arms as fast as I can?
Richard: That will give me a rough idea of the data that I need. Just remember, no running on the leg, once your legs are feeling better, I’ll take a closer look at them. So how well do you know Michael?
Panel 3
Jeffery is starting to rotate his arms slowly.
Jeffery: Well, we met on the first mission. He’s a real great guy, but you know, he doesn’t stay at the penthouse, so I don’t know him real well, but he’s OK.
Richard: Hmmmmm OK.
Jeffery: What’s that?
Panel 4
It’s the same as Panel 3, only Jeffery’s arm is accelerating a little faster.
Richard: Well, I don’t want to say anything bad, as you are going to have to work with him. But he and I used to date, so there aren’t a whole lot of positive things I can say.
Jeffery: O….well ok. I just don’t know what to say to that.
Panel 5
Richard is smirking. Jeffery is accelerating a little faster.
Richard: It’s OK, I understand. So are you seeing anyone? And if I am getting too personal let me know, I just want to get to know those of you on the team that I don’t know.
Jeffery: Ok, great. And no, I’m kind of confused. I think this person likes me, but I don’t know what to think. We were supposed to go out tonight, but they cancelled on me.
Richard: You’re playing the pronoun game. It’s OK, I guessed you were gay. And you know dating is tricky. And there are tricks everywhere!
Panel 6
Jeffery is smiling to himself. His arms is going so fast it is a blur.
Jeffery: You know, I never heard that term before I moved to here, Michael says it all the time.
Richard: Yeah, he would, with as many as he knows…. So if you’re not doing anything, I was wondering if you wanted to stick around, so I can work on a flash costume for you. We can talk, and I can show you around.
Jeffery: Uhm..yeah sure, I mean I haven’t been here a whole lot and would like a tour. Sure, sounds good.

Michael has dressed up and is walking toward a table. Chris is waving at him, and Aiden and Rachel are looking in his direction.
Chris: Michael! You’re late, we almost ordered without you. I thought we said seven o’clock.
Michael: You did, I had to go to work, remember? So what are you guys having?Aiden: Right now just drinks, well none for Rachel, but they have great prime rib!
Panel 2
Michael is sitting down and Chris is handing him a menu. Rachel has one hand on her necklace and the other in Aiden’s.
Rachel: I really am glad that you and Chris are able to join us, Michael. Ever since we moved from the suburbs you guys have really grown to be our best friends. I am glad that you are able to share in our joy.
Aiden: Honey, Michael and Chris know they are important to us. I am just happy that you are pregnant and we are going to be parents.

Chris is turning to Michael.
Chris: Are you Ok, honey? You seem distracted.
Michael: No...I’m fine, just this jerk at work. I’m here with you guys though.
Chris: Good, so does this mean that you guys are going to set a date? I mean you’ve been engaged for a few weeks now.
Aiden: To tell you the truth, we haven’t really…
Panel 4
Rachel is smiling at Chris.
Rachel: I actually would like a June Wedding, I know its cliché but it will be when I am at the 6 month mark, and I won’t have to have major alterations to my dress.
Aiden: You already have a dress?Rachel: Yes, it was my mothers…..
Aiden: I think we need to discuss this honey, I don’t think that we should be jumping into anything.

Chris is smiling at Aiden.
Chris: Jumping into anything? Aiden, you proposed to her! And know that she is with child, I think its way past the slow down phase!
Michael: Chris, we shouldn’t be jumping into their….
Rachel: Michael, he is right, after all, Aiden, when do you think we should marry?
Panel 6
Aiden is clearing his throat.
Aiden: I was actually thinking about after we get a little more financially secure….I mean with the baby coming and me just now starting this job….I know we didn’t plan for the baby, but that just pushes things back, unless you know, you wanna get married at city hall.
Panel 7
The four of them are looking at one another. The window of the restaurant should show Allure being thrown.
Panel 8
Allure is going through the window and there is glass flying everywhere.

Evelyn is crawling out of the wall, she is right over the table where the group was eating.
Evelyn: Aurora! I have to…Aiden? Michael?
Chris: You leather clad….slut! You just ruined our dinner! Wait a second, you know them?
Evelyn: Slut!? Sir, if I wasn’t a lady or a celebrity, I would stay and debate your slander, and debate your very unfortunate wardrobe choice, you sir, are an insult to house of Gucci!
Panel 2
Rachel is pointing off panel. The rest of the group are in shock.
Rachel: LOOK OUT, He’s coming back!
Panel 3
Aiden and Michael are bathed in a white light, Evelyn is over them using her body as a shield over them and Chris and Rachel. The man in amour is hitting her full force.
Michael: Aiden, Flash suit on! Rachel, get Chris out of here. Aiden, once you are clear, evacuate the restaurant.
Panel 4
